Local Media Association's Innovation Mission kicks off in New York

New York, NY, May 22, 2016 -  Twenty-five newsmedia industry executives convened in New York this week to kickoff the annual Local Media Association Innovation Mission.   This year's edition will take participants coast-to-coast with stops in New York and San Francisco.  It will include visits to seventeen of the most disruptive media and technology companies, including Apple, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Tout, and Cxense, as well as meeting with leaders from E.W. Scripps, Calkins Media, the San Francisco Chronicle and innovation projects taking place at the NYC Media Lab.
